Meet Neget: A Light in Desagua

Far from paved roads and modern comforts, the village of Desagua relies on one extraordinary woman—Neget. Newly licensed as a nurse, she serves day and night at a small health post, bringing care and comfort to families who have nowhere else to turn.

Thanks to your support, Operation Dignity International has equipped Neget with a motorized tricycle for emergency transport and a solar battery that keeps the lights on through the night. No more treating patients in darkness. No more waiting for help that never comes.

And we’re not stopping there. Soon, the clinic will be repaired, birthing beds added, and walls painted—transforming it into a beacon of hope for the entire community.

Neget answered her calling. Together, we’re making sure she never stands alone.
